Preface
Names and colours of Istria
The buildings are named after indigenous plants of Istria — Pinija, Maslina and Lavanda. Each takes its name from the land it stands on, not from a number on a plaque.
The façades are painted in the natural earth colours of Istrian soil: warm ochre and sandy white, in keeping with the landscape of Medulin.
